Abstract:
Cost control and management of construction project pricing in civil engineering constitute an essential component for ensuring the smooth implementation of projects and achieving the anticipated economic benefits. In order to better exert the role of cost control and management in construction project pricing, this paper explores the subject from three aspects: value function, existing problems, and cost control measures. It investigates the importance of cost control and management in enhancing project economic efficiency, optimizing resource allocation, and strengthening market competitiveness. Furthermore, it analyzes cost control issues arising at different stages of civil engineering projects, including preliminary decision-making, design, bidding and tendering, construction to completion. Corresponding solutions are then proposed, with the aim of providing theoretical support and reference for cost management in civil engineering projects.
