Abstract: The current situation of land greening in shanxian Yellow River old road region can be divided into three stages:increasing green area, decreasing green area and consolidating and upgrading green area. According to the actual situation of Shanxian Yellow River old road region, scientific land greening is suggested to grasp the principle of suitable place and suitable tree and strengthen the management and protection of green seedlings. The ecological benefit, social benefit, economic benefit and comprehensive benefit of scientific land greening are analyzed.
