Abstract: As an important ecological security barrier in China, Xiang forest resources play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance and biodiversity of the plateau. However, influenced by global climate change and human activities, forestry diseases and pests have become increasingly frequent in Xizang, posing a serious threat to forest ecosystems. This paper reviews the current status, major species, and damage caused by forestry diseases and pests in Xizang, and discusses existing control measures, aiming to provide references for effective prevention and control of these issues.
