Abstract: The article starts with the achievements and challenges faced by the development of forest fire prevention in China, and it systematically analyzes several key points of strengthening capacity building in forest fire prevention in the new era, and puts forward specific countermeasures and recommendations for the development of professional teams, forest management, field fire management, lightning fire prevention, fire surveillance, aviation forest fire protection, etc. In addition, it provides a reference for China to realize the modernization of comprehensive forest fire management and management capacity.
