Abstract: The functional structure of the forest and grass resources archives management system was designed based on the forest and grass resources archives management and updating work of the county level forest and grass administrative units. The county level archives management system with C # programming language, ArcEngine development package on the desktop and SQL server database was implemented. The completed system is simple and convenient to operate. It has the functions of spatial data display, data entry, archive data management, annual data update, confidentiality authority management, data upload and download. The system has been applied to the forest resource archive management at the county level. The application shows that the system can greatly improve the informatization management level of grass-roots forest and grass administrative units, and improve the standardization of forest and grass resource archives management.
