Abstract:
To optimize the cultivation techniques of Yunnan pine artificial forests and facilitate efficient afforestation production and related technical research, This study took the young forests of
Pinus yunnanensis in Jianshan Forest Area, Lufeng Village Forest Farm, Yiliang County, as the research object. An L16(4
5) orthogonal test was adopted. Under a non-uniform afforestation density of 1 m×2 m×4 m, the effects of non-woven fabric covering and fertilization measures on the growth of young forests and weed control were explored. The results show that After 12 and 16 months of afforestation, the ground diameters of each treatment were 13.0-17.1 mm and 14.9-21.4 mm respectively, and the tree heights at 3, 12 and 16 months of afforestation were 4.0-6.4 cm, 16.2-26.1 cm and 17.4-31.0 cm respectively. The differences among each growth index treatment reached an extremely significant level(
P<0.01). The amount of fertilizer applied is the main influencing factor for ground diameter growth. The type of fertilizer and the amount of fertilizer applied dominate tree height growth. The optimal treatment combinations vary at different growth stages. In young forest land, ground diameter and tree height grow in coordination. Conclusion: non-woven fabric covering combined with fertilization can significantly promote the growth of young Yunnan pine forests and can be used as a key technical measure for the efficient cultivation of its artificial young forests.
