Abstract:
In order to study the effects of different factor combinations on the rooting of
Prunus virginiana L. cuttings and find a suitable method for
Prunus virginiana L. cuttings, this study used orthogonal analysis and range analysis to explore the effects of cutting matrix, hormone species and hormone concentration on different rooting indexes of
Prunus virginiana L. cuttings. The results showed that the rooting type of
Prunus virginiana L. is mixed type; the three factors of cutting matrix, hormone species and hormone concentration had significant effects on the rooting indexes of
Prunus virginiana L. cutting(
P < 0.05); A2B2B3 was the best combination affecting the rooting rate of Prunus virginiana L.; A1B2C1 was the best combination affecting the number of lateral roots of
Prunus virginiana L. cutting; A1B3C3 was the best combination affecting the average root length of
Prunus virginiana L. cutting; the best combination affecting the rooting effect of
Prunus virginiana L. cutting is A1B2C3, that is, using peat soil and perlite(1:1) as matrix, IBA as growth hormone and hormone concentration of 200ppm for cutting, the comprehensive effect is the best.
