Abstract: The construction of national reserve forest is an important measure for alleviating the contradiction between timber supply and demand, improving forest quality accurately, and realizing the value transformation of ecological products. It seems that the construction of national reserve forest in Sichuan province has a positive and rapid momentum. However, through in-depth studies and discoveries, it is clear that issues such as irregular use of funds, difficult transfer of collective forest rights, slow progress of projects,improper construction and poor industrial structure still persist. Based on field research and data collection, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the aspects of perfecting the system mechanism, consolidating the circulation of forest rights,accelerating the optimization and adjustment, increasing the cultivation and introduction of talents, and enriching the industrial format,in order to make contributions to the high-quality development of national reserve forest in Sichuan province.
