Abstract:
Chaozhou City has advanced the integration and optimization of nature reserves in tandem with the assessment and adjustment of ecological conservation red lines, the compilation of territorial spatial planning, and the demarcation of "three zones and three lines", thereby establishing a classified, graded, and zoned system of the natural protected areas covering both land and sea areas. This system encompasses 7 nature reserves, 1 scenic spot, 16 forest parks, 1 geological park, and 4 wetland parks. A unified vector data map library for nature reserves has been formed and incorporated into the "one map" management of territorial spatial planning. This paper comprehensively assesses the natural ecological resources, natural landscape resources, and areas of significant conservation value within the region, resolves conflicting areas, incorporates areas with higher conservation value, and enhances the diversity, stability, and sustainability of the nature reserve ecosystem.
