Abstract:
Used GIS technology, combined with traditional statistical methods, factor analysis, analytic hierarchy process, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, this article constructed a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and conducted a study on the growth suitability of soft leaved Chinese fir distributed in Jinning district, province. Predicted the potential distribution areas of soft leaved Chinese fir in the study area, screened suitable plots for cultivating artificial soft leaved Chinese fir forests, and provided site selection guidance for this excellent timber species, soft leaved Chinese fir. Through research, it was found that the suitable area for the growth of soft leaved Chinese fir in the study area was 24 987.7 hectares, accounting for 18.67% of the study area. At the same time, 969.4 hm
2 of suitable forest land for cultivating soft leaved Chinese fir forests was selected in the study area. The results obtained through GIS technology analysis are highly consistent with the actual distribution of natural soft leaved Chinese fir, indicating that it is feasible to predict the potential distribution area of soft leaved Chinese fir based on GIS technology and screen suitable afforestation sites.
