Abstract: According to the forest resources status and the main problems of forest farms, in combination with the functional orientation and requirements after the reform of the state-owned forest farms, in this paper we clarify the forest management policy and management objectives for the next management period(2021-2030) of the forest farms, divide four forest functional areas of ecological protection, forest recreation and leisure, forestry industry management and industrial development services, and four corresponding management types of strict conservation, key protection, protection management and intensive management, and propose the implementation of forest management measures such as low-efficiency forest renovation, forest nurturing, forest closure, harvesting and renewal, and non-wood resources management. The implementation of the program will further optimize the forest species and stand structure, significantly improve forest quality, and enhance sustainable forest management capacity.
