Abstract: Jinsha river dry-hot valley in Yunnan is rich in light and heat resources, which is very suitable for the development of three-dimensional tropical crop resources. At present, a variety of mountain tropical crops are widely developed in the valley area, which plays an important role in promoting regional economic and social development and ecological livelihood. With the continuous development of the tropical crop industry environment, the research on the development and utilization of tropical crop resources in the region needs to be accelerated and deepened. Based on the investigation and research, this paper expounds the scope of the dry-hot valley of Jinsha river in Yunnan and the expected development and utilization area of mountain tropical crops, and comprehensively analyzes the natural environment conditions, land space resource conditions and ecological environment conditions for the development of hot work. It is concluded that it is very urgent to develop the hot work industry with various benefits of ecological economy and society in the dry-hot valley of Jinsha river in Yunnan. Then, the paper discusses the development status and constraints of the hot-working industry in the dry-hot valley of Jinsha river in Yunnan, and puts forward the development and utilization direction of the hot-working industry and the countermeasures to promote the development.
