Abstract: As the most important ecological security barrier and forest resource base in China, state-owned forest farms plays an irreplaceable role in the overall situation of national ecological security, it's an important implementation subject of the implementation of ecological civilization construction. Based on the status of forest resources and forest management in Baiyunshan state-owned forest farm in Gejiu, this paper summarizes the characteristics of forest resources and the existing problems in forest management, and discusses the ways to solve these problems, and puts forward reasonable strategy for the development of the Baiyunshan state-owned forest farm.
