Abstract:
In order to understand the change of bird diversity in Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park under the strong interference of road construction, the survey diversity of birds in wetland parks was conducted in the autumn of 2019 and 2020 respectively. The wetland parks were investigated respectively in the autumn of 2019 and 2020. Data show that 78 bird orders, 24 families, 38 genera and 41 species were investigated. The bird fauna is dominated by 24 species of oriental birds, 11 species of Palaearctic, 2 species of Jeonbuk and 4 species of difficult classification. Three species of national second-class protected animals are
Falco peregrinus,
Columba palumbus and
Niltava davidi. There are one species of
Falco peregrinus in Appendix I (CITES 2023) of CITES Convention. There are 31 species of birds, accounting for 78.05%, listed in the National Protected Terrestrial Wild Animals with Beneficial or Important Economic and Scientific Research Value issued by the State Forestry Administration on August 1, 2000. 36 species of birds are listed in the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species. The relative number of birds in autumn of 2020 exceeds that in autumn of 2019. The encounter rate of 31 species of birds increased, while that of 10 species of birds decreased. There are 14 dominant species in 2019 and 23 dominant species in 2020. Among the 15 occasional species, there are key protected species. It can be seen that the importance of bird species protection in Huaxi Wetland Park. Comparing the diversity index Shannon Wiener index, Simpson index and uniformity index in autumn of two years, it has rebounded in autumn of 2020. The comprehensive diversity index of two years, Shannon Weiner index 2.51, Simpson index 0.86 and uniformity index 0.67, are all lower than historical data. Although the number of bird species in the autumn of two years is only three, more than 20% of the species structure is turbulent. The data confirmed that the interference of Huaxi Avenue expansion in 2019 did have an impact on birds. In 2020, birds will pick up both in species and quantity, which is a succession pick-up of bird community structure after the removal of interference and the reduction of scenic spots. From the analysis of niche diversity and niche similarity, the key protected landscapes are woodland, shrub and water landscape.
