Abstract: Ecological balance is an important condition for the whole biosphere to maintain a normal life support system, providing suitable environmental conditions and stable material resources for human beings. By investigating succession change and development of Mengshan ecosystem for many years, the statistical analysis of the various factors influencing the Mengshan ecological balance were done with hierarchical classification. The group researched the role of way of the factors, and put forward suggestion and measures on the protection of forest resources and promoting the coordinated development between forest resources and the social economy, which is of great significance to maintain ecological balance and construct ecological Shandong.
