Abstract: According to the Notice of New Round of Establishment Scheme for Forest Land Protection and Utilization Planning and Technical Scheme for New Round of Forest Land Protection and Utilization Planning,printed and distributed by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration,Dongchuan District was identified as a pilot unit for the new round of forest land protection and utilization planning in Yunnan Province.In accordance with the requirements of the Notices,based on the data of the third land and resource survey,combined with the territorial spatial planning of Dongchuan District,summarized the implementation and effectiveness of the previous round of forest land protection and utilization planning,analyzed the new requirements of forest land and forest protection and management under the new situation,profiled the problems in forest land protection and management,a planning text on the new round of forest land protection and utilization was compiled and the technical methods for the large-scale new round planning in Yunnan Province were explored.
