Abstract: Hongye Municipal Road Software(hereinafter referred to as HY-SZDL) as one of the important auxiliary tools for current urban road design work has been widely used by designers due to its powerful ability to combine software technology development with engineering practice. However, HY-SZDL will still encounter some specific problems in the process of urban road design, and the software cannot or is not easy to implement. This brings inconvenience and seriously affects work efficiency. This article takes a main road in a certain city as an example, and proposes specific problems encountered in the design of HY-SZDL(such as the cross section design of the main and auxiliary roads of overpasses, the treatment of irregular intersections, and the design of asymmetric cross sections). It elaborates on the countermeasures to solve the problems and provides reference for similar projects.
