Abstract: American white moth is a seriously harmful foreign forestry pest.Because of its omnivorous characteristics, strong fecundity and difficult prevention and control, it has become one of the objects of forest plant quarantine in China.American white moth spreads fast and wide range, which can spread quickly along the traffic and invade street trees along the transport.Therefore, it is very important to investigate and monitor and control them.In recent years, the American white moth in Liaoning Province has been effectively controlled, and the degree of harm has been reduced.However, due to the biological characteristics of the American white moth, climate change and frequent logistics activities, the American white moth still has a strong momentum of development.The article analyzes the prevention and control strategy of American white moth in Liaoning Province, and puts forward effective prevention and control measures, mainly including strengthening biological control, carrying out professional prevention and control, implementing joint prevention and control, and strengthening epidemic monitoring.
