Abstract: Integrated monitoring of forest and grass ecology was officially launched in the 2021 and will be carried out on a regular basis every year in the future. Based on the practice of Yunnan Province in 2022, the author suggests that the Forestry Department should strengthen the team construction, strengthen the team training and strengthen the quality control of the results, in the framework of national investigation and monitoring, the establishment of local investigation and monitoring system will lay a solid foundation for the future high-quality and efficient forest and grass ecological comprehensive monitoring in Yunnan province.
