Abstract: Based on the comprehensive investigation results of Nanjian Fenghuang Mountain Migratory Birds Prefecture Nature Reserve in December 2019, through field investigation, interview investigation, plant specimen collection, sorting and classification, the species of plant resources within the reserve were preliminarily identified, and the resources and flora of wild seed plants were analyzed. The results showed that:(1) 451 species of vascular plants belonging to 113 families, 313 genera were recorded in the reserve, among them there are 11 families, 29 genera and 38 species of artificially cultivated plants and 102 families, 284 genera and 413 species of wild plants;(2) there are 12 communities in the reserve;(3) the reserve is mainly composed of compositae, gramineae, rosaceae, butterflyceae, labiatae and polygonaceae;(4) the distribution of plants in the tropical zone is more compact than that in the temperate zone at the family level; the genus level is closely related to the north temperate distribution and its varieties, which indicates that the nature reserve has typical temperate characteristics in flora; at the species level, there are a large number of Chinese endemic plants in the reserve;(5) there are many resource plants in the reserve.In order to better protect and reasonably use the resource plants, the species with high economic value and large demand for raw materials should be actively introduced and cultivated.
