Abstract:
The research progress of
Acer miaotaiense in recent years was reviewed from the aspects of population distribution, biological characteristics, reproductive technology, utilization value, endangerment and protection status.
Acer miaotaiense is a endemic species in China. It is mainly distributed in Gansu and Shanxi, and sporadically distributed in Henan and Hubei. The population is very limited.
Acer miaotaiense has high requirements for the living environment, weak competitiveness, weak reproductive capacity, and full seeds only account for 3 % of the total. The habitat is easily disturbed by human activities, and the survival is worrying.
Acer miaotaiense can be propagated by seeds and cuttings, but the survival rate is not high, which needs further study.
Acer miaotaiense has ornamental, scientific research and economic value. The main reason for the endangerment of
Acer miaotaiense is the limitation of its own reproductive development system and the influence of human activities. The protection of
Acer miaotaiense can be carried out through in-situ protection, ex-situ breeding and enhanced publicity. Through this paper, we hope to increase the public 's attention to
Acer miaotaiense and provide reference for the protection, research and utilization of
Acer miaotaiense.
