Evaluation of ecosystem service value of Xingyun Lake National Wetland Park in Jiangchuan of Yunnan Province

Abstract: Xingyun Lake is one of the nine plateau lakes in Yunnan Province. It is the "Mother Lake" of Jiangchuan.Wetland resources are extremely precious. It is an important node on the migration channel of migratory birds in China. It affects the social, ecological and economic development of Jiangchuan and even Yuxi people. The evaluation of ecosystem service value of Xingyun Lake National Wetland Park in Jiangchuan of Yunnan Province will help to improve the understanding of wetland function and its importance, and provide value evaluation basis for the monetization compensation policy of wetland ecosystem management, rational development and ecological protection. The four primary indicators of supply services, regulation services, cultural services and support services and their lower ten secondary indicators were calculated by using quantitative analysis methods such as market value method, shadow engineering method and carbon tax law.The total ecosystem service value of Xingyun Lake National Wetland Park in Jiangchuan of Yunnan Province was 3.62 × 109 yuan, accounting for 0.19% of the GDP of Yuxi City and 2.70% of the GDP of Jiangchuan district.According to the specific value, leisure and entertainment (44.56%) > flood regulation and water storage (38.87%) > food production (4.7%) > water supply (3.37%) > wave dissipation and revetment (3.05%) > water purification (2.89%) > carbon fixation and oxygen release (1.91%) > scientific research and education (0.33%) > biodiversity (0.22%) and climate regulation (0.09%).
