Abstract: Garden science and technology archives are the data and information saved by forestry practitioners and relevant departments in scientific research and experiment, technical publicity and other activities. With the progress of society, garden science and technology archives management plays an important role in the development of forestry department. However, because the archives information resources can't create direct economic benefits for the garden construction, the garden construction management has insufficient understanding of it, resulting in the widespread problems of garden science and technology archives management, which need to be improved. This paper summarizes and analyzes the main problems existing in the current garden science and technology archives work, and finally puts forward several countermeasures and suggestion to realize the standardization and information management of garden science and technology archives, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the efficient management and scientific utilization of garden science and technology archives.
