Abstract:
The flora serves as a crucial research foundation for plant taxonomy and vegetation ecology. Sichuan Gemu National Grassland Nature Park boasts abundant species diversity. Nevertheless, research on the plant species and the flora within this region remains rather scarce. Through on-site field investigations, this paper conducts a statistical analysis of the characteristics of the seed plant flora in the Sichuan Gemu National Grassland Nature Park. The research findings indicate that there are 223 species of seed plants in this area, belonging to 116 genera and 49 families. Among them, there are 14 species of gymnosperms, which are categorized into 5 genera and 3 families, and 209 species of angiosperms, consisting of 111 genera, 46 families under 22 orders. Based on the analysis of the distribution area types, the flora of this region predominantly exhibits a temperate distribution pattern. At the genus level, the proportion of temperate distribution is the highest, reaching 77.59%, among which North Temperate distribution and its variants account for 63.33%. At the family level, excluding the cosmopolitan families, the number of temperate distributions is the largest, accounting for 70.83%. This study aims to provide a reference for the research on the flora of relevant grassland ecosystem protection areas, and simultaneously offer data support for the construction and scientific planning of national grassland nature parks.
