Abstract: The special geographical environment of karst region in southwest China has created many unique karst wonders with typical ecological characteristics, profound national culture, which have high aesthetic viewing speciality and tourism service function, and important scientific research, publicity and education as well as other special values. In order to improve the utilization rate of resources, give full play to the karst tourism value and the sustainable ecological service function, taking the construction of Yunfengshan National Desert Park in Mile, Yunnan Province as an example, using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods this paper comprehensively evaluatd the value of karst landscape resources, and proposed development strategies accordingly. It is expected to provide scientific basis and theoretical guidance for the protection and utilization of subtropical karst resources along with the sustainable development of karst ecosystem fragile areas in China.
