Correlation analysis on physical and mechanical indexes of sea-land mixed soft soil in Guangzhou area

The paper is based on all kinds of data of geotechnical engineering projects in Guangzhou city.Through unary regression analysis, the correlation in the various physical parameters and the relationship between the compression factor and physical parameters are revealed. And the regression equation in the physical and mechanical indicators is established. With the multiple regression analysis, the regression equation of the internal friction angle, water content and void ratio and the regression equation of cohesion, water content and plasticity index are revealed.This study helps estimate the mechanical characteristics of soft soil.The research results provide a certain basis for the value of soft soil engineering in this area.
