Finite element analysis on influence of settlement and internal force of an existing tunnel by a new over crossed road

When a new road crosses an existing road, the engineering technology evaluation of the project to be crossed shall be carried out according to the requirements of the specification. Combining actual cases, this paper uses ABAQUS finite element software to carry out numerical simulation of the whole process of construction and operation of an existing tunnel across a new road, and obtains the settlement and internal force added value of the tunnel under different working conditions, which can provide reference for other similar projects.
