Study on development pattern and path of forestry and grassland in Qamdo during the fourteenth five-year plan period

Qamdo is located in the eastern part of Tibet, located in the Hengduan Mountains and three rivers(Jinsha River, Lancang River, Nujiang River), known as the "Pearl of East Tibet" laudable. This paper analyzed the background of forestry and grassland protection and development in Qamdo city from three levels of country, autonomous region and Qamdo, demonstrated the necessity of development pattern planning, and objectively analyzed development conditions. According to the characteristics of topography, distribution of forest and grass resources, and the strategy of Qamdo's economic and social development, the protection and development pattern of "one corridor, two districts, three rivers and multiple points" was constructed, combined with the positioning of the main functional area of Qamdo. Development paths of ecological, safe, landscape, cultural, service, science and technology forestry and grassland were expounded.
