Abstract
Quercus wutaishansea Mary.is one of the most widely distributed hardwood species in Shanxi forests.It has good ecological and economic value.Based on the 66 stem analyzed Quercus wutaishansea Mary.trees in different area, we choose 40 trees data as modeling samples, and the rest of 26 trees as test samples to do some match with 6 common growth equations.The results show that Gompertz equation fits the DBH of Quercus wutaishansea Mary.best and the Richards equation fits the trees height and volume best.Independent sample test was carried out on the selected model, and the fitting accuracy of corresponding equations was above 95%.We use the model to draw the growth curve of Quercus liaodong, it shows that Quercus wutaishansea Mary.entered the peak of DBH growth in 20-55 years, from 9 to 33 years, it entered the peak period of tree growth, and the annual volume growth peaked at 51a with 0.009m3 per year.After 83 years of growth, the volume of oak in Liaodong began to grow less than the average annual growth, reached the appropriate cutting age.
