  • In this paper, crushed granite and boulder commonly seen in Lhasa area are selected as aggregates, which are used as asphalt mixture aggregates, and dense asphalt mixture AC-25C is used as test samples.The tests are mainly conducted on the density index, wear value, crushing value of aggregates, and the water stability, low temperature crack resistance, and high temperature stability of asphalt mixture to verify whether the performance indexes of various aggregates and asphalt mixtures meet the requirements of relevant pavement specifications.While meeting the specifications, the performance of aggregates and asphalt mixtures is further compared with limestone, providing reference for engineering projects.The concept of "local materials" is put into practice, which can not only ensure the road performance requirements, but also save investment.
