Classification of stand type and evaluation on forest suitability in Lhasa SouthNorth Mountains

Taking Chengguan district as an example,through analyzing the altitude,climate, soil and lithology characteristics of SouthNorth Mountains in Lhasa, South-North Mountains in Lhasa was divided into 4 groups of site type and 6 site types with the principles and methods of site classification, and the forest suitability of each site type was evaluated, which would provide theoretical basis for scientific afforestation.
