Analysis on present situation of forest resources in Jinguang Temple Provincial Nature Reserve

Jinguang Temple Provincial Nature Reserve is rich in forest resources.Based on the forest land survey data and GIS technology in 2019,the analysis and evaluation of the forest resources in this region show that:1) the forest coverage rate is high,up to 96.21%,and the forest land resources are rich,with the forest land taking the absolute advantage;2) the forest is dominated by natural forests,accounting for 87.66%,and the stock of living wood is relatively high,nearly 1.4 million cubic meters;3) the dominant species of trees in the nature reserve were Quercus,and the middle and near mature forests were the dominant species in the age group.The monitoring of forest resources in the nature reserve should be strengthened to master the overall structure characteristics of forest resources in the nature reserve,so as to provide a basis for making reasonable management and conservation plans and predicting the development direction of forest resources in the future.
