Main problems and countermeasures on planning and construction of national forest city

The construction of the national forest city started in 2004. After years of construction and development, it has achieved remarkable results and received widespread attention. However, due to the inadequate analysis of the existing problems in the process of compiling the construction planning of the national forest city, the construction and development of the national forest city are affected. This paper comprehensively analyzes the main problems existing in the planning and construction of national forest cities from the aspects of forest network, forest health, ecological welfare, and ecological culture. Adhering to the problem-oriented approach, this paper puts forward the construction principles and construction priorities of national forest city planning in order to provide reference for forest city planning and construction.
