Study on differences between the third nationwide land survey and forest resources map in Dongchuan district

Taking Dongchuan district as example, comparing with the third nationwide land survey and forest resources map, the difference of land scope were found by superposition. The results manifested that there were great differences among forest land area, forest area, public welfare forest area and natural forest area. The different data influenced on forest land, retention forest coverage, ecological benefit compensation, natural forest conservation and other factors. It is suggested that the administrative departments should strengthen cooperation and further verify the different spots, which would provide scientific support to the new round of forest land conservation and utilization plan, improve relevant achievements.
